These disclaimers apply to all content, services, and communications provided by CINNIMON t/a BoldPiq (Reg 2015/193038/07). By accessing our website or engaging our services, you acknowledge and accept these disclaimers.
1. General Website Disclaimer
The information on this website (www.boldpiq.com) is provided for general informational purposes only. BoldPiq makes no representations or warranties of any kind, express or implied, regarding the accuracy, completeness, reliability, suitability, or availability of the information, products, services, or related graphics on this website. Any reliance you place on such information is strictly at your own risk. BoldPiq shall not be liable for any loss or damage — including, without limitation, indirect or consequential loss or damage — arising from the use of, or inability to use, this website or any information contained herein.
2. No Professional Advice
Nothing on this website constitutes legal, financial, accounting, tax, or other professional advice. All content is provided for general informational and educational purposes only. You should consult a qualified professional before making any business, legal, or financial decisions. BoldPiq accepts no responsibility for decisions made based on the content of this website.
3. Results Disclaimer
Any case studies, testimonials, portfolio examples, or results mentioned on this website reflect individual outcomes and are not a guarantee of future results. Results vary based on client involvement, market conditions, industry, and other factors outside BoldPiq's control. BoldPiq makes no representation that any client will achieve the same or similar results.
4. Website Audits, Visibility Reports & Scoring
BoldPiq's website audits and visibility reports — including reports generated at audit.boldpiq.com — are automated, evidence-based measurements of a website as it was published at the moment of scanning. They cover structural SEO, AEO (answer engine optimisation) and GEO (generative engine optimisation) factors, together with a live Google Lighthouse run measuring performance, accessibility, best practices and agentic browsing. Unless expressly stated otherwise, a report measures the single page listed on its cover. An audit does not assess the accuracy of your content, your commercial offer or pricing, or your legal and regulatory compliance, and it does not replace a manual review by a qualified professional. Scores reflect the site at the time of scanning and will change as the site, its plugins, its content or the underlying platform change. BoldPiq's working target is a score of 90 or above on every measured category, and this is achieved on most projects. Save as set out below in respect of accessibility, it is not guaranteed. Certain scores — Performance in particular, and to a lesser extent Best Practices — are materially affected by factors outside BoldPiq's control, including: · Hosting platform, server response times and network conditions · Third-party scripts and embeds retained at the client's request (chat widgets, tracking pixels, booking tools, review and social embeds, video, maps) · Code generated by the client's chosen website builder or CMS · The device, connection and test conditions under which the audit is run · Normal run-to-run variance in the measurement tools themselves, which means a score should be read as a range rather than a fixed figure · Platform-level restrictions on closed systems such as Wix, Squarespace or Shopify, where certain fixes are structurally impossible Where a 90+ score is not achievable, BoldPiq will identify the constraint, explain the cause, and advise the realistic ceiling for that site. BoldPiq does not charge for remedial work that the client's platform does not permit. Accessibility is treated differently. Every website built by BoldPiq is engineered to achieve an automated accessibility score of 90 or above at the Go-Live date, and BoldPiq regards a lower score on a site it has built as its own defect to correct rather than a platform limitation. Two qualifications apply to that standard. First, an automated accessibility score of 90 or above is not equivalent to full conformance with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) or with any accessibility legislation: automated testing can only detect a portion of the criteria the standard requires, no authority certifies a website as accessible, and a high score must not be relied upon as evidence of legal compliance. This clause is to be read together with clause 18.2 of BoldPiq's Terms of Service. Second, the standard applies to the site as delivered at Go-Live; accessibility scores can decline afterwards where images, embeds, plugins or content are added by the client or a third party without the same care, and BoldPiq is not responsible for such decline except under a separate Maintenance & Support Agreement.
5. SEO, AEO and GEO Scores Are Not Ranking Guarantees
A strong SEO, AEO or GEO score means a website is technically findable, readable and quotable — that search engines and AI assistants can crawl it, understand it and cite it. That is the element BoldPiq engineers, and it is a genuine competitive advantage. It is not the same as a ranking position. Actual search rankings, visibility in AI assistants, and whether a business is named in an AI-generated answer are determined by competition and by third-party systems that BoldPiq neither owns nor controls. These include, without limitation: the number and strength of competing businesses targeting the same searches, their domain age and authority, their backlink profiles, their review volume and recency, their advertising spend and ongoing marketing effort, the searcher's location, device and personal search history, and the undisclosed and frequently changing ranking algorithms operated by Google, Bing and AI platforms such as ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity and Gemini. It is therefore entirely possible for a website to score higher than a competitor on every measured category and still rank below that competitor for a given search term, and for rankings to move without any change to the website itself. Accordingly, BoldPiq does not warrant or guarantee any specific search engine ranking or position, any keyword placement, any volume of traffic, impressions, enquiries or revenue, inclusion in Google AI Overviews or featured snippets, or that any AI assistant will mention or recommend the client's business. Any representation to the contrary is not authorised by BoldPiq. What BoldPiq does commit to is the following: to measure honestly, to fix what is measurable and within our control, to state plainly where a limitation is imposed by the client's platform or third-party services, to give the website the strongest technical starting position reasonably achievable on that platform, and to re-run the same audit after the work so that any improvement is documented and verifiable rather than merely claimed. This clause is to be read together with clause 7.5 (No Performance Guarantee) of BoldPiq's Terms of Service.
6. Unsolicited Audits, Direct Marketing and Report Retention
BoldPiq may prepare a website audit for a business that has not requested one, as an introduction to our work. Such an audit is produced solely from the publicly published version of the website concerned, using the same automated tools described in clause 4. BoldPiq does not attempt to access private, protected or authenticated areas of any website, does not test security controls, and does not collect personal information beyond the business contact details the business itself publishes. Scans are rate-limited and run one at a time. The audit is yours to keep and act on, with or without BoldPiq. Where an audit or any other material is sent to you by electronic means as direct marketing, BoldPiq relies on consent or an existing customer relationship in accordance with section 69 of the Protection of Personal Information Act 4 of 2013, and every such message carries a free and straightforward means of opting out. A request to stop receiving communications is actioned on the same business day it is received, and the requester's details are suppressed or deleted. To opt out at any time, reply to the message concerned or email support@boldpiq.com. Audit reports and their underlying scan data are stored on BoldPiq-controlled infrastructure behind authenticated access. They are automatically deleted twelve (12) months after they are generated — a period chosen so that a follow-up audit can still be compared against the original, and no longer. Where you are a client of BoldPiq, records relating to your engagement are retained in accordance with the BoldPiq Privacy Policy and applicable law. You may request earlier deletion of a report concerning your website at any time by emailing support@boldpiq.com.

9. Third-Party Tools & Platform Disclaimers

BoldPiq is not responsible for: · Downtime, outages, or service interruptions caused by third-party platforms · Changes to third-party pricing, terms, or features · Data loss or breaches occurring within third-party systems · Any actions or omissions by third-party providers Clients are encouraged to review the terms and privacy policies of all third-party tools used in their projects.
10. BoldPiq Technology Stack
The website will be built using BoldPiq's proprietary baseline stack (the "Stack"), as documented at www.boldpiq.com and in the applicable project specification. The Stack includes specific security configurations, AI crawler access protocols, IndexNow automation, server-side rendering setup, performance optimisations, and related technical best practices as implemented at the Go-Live date. BoldPiq continually refines its Stack across new and existing projects. The version deployed for a specific client reflects the standards current at the time of that project's Go-Live. BoldPiq makes no warranty that the Stack deployed in any project will remain compliant with future third-party platform requirements, evolving security standards, or updated AI search protocols after the Go-Live date, except under a separate Maintenance & Support Agreement.
11. Post-Launch Maintenance and Liability
After the official Go-Live / handover date, BoldPiq is not automatically responsible for applying updates to third-party services, frameworks (including but not limited to Next.js, Sanity CMS, and Vercel), security patches, or evolving industry best practices, unless a separate Maintenance & Support Agreement is in place. BoldPiq will not be liable for any issues, vulnerabilities, performance degradation, or loss arising from: · Missed updates to third-party frameworks or services · Changes in external platform behaviour, APIs, or policies · New security threats or exploits emerging after Go-Live · Evolution of SEO, GEO, or AI search standards after Go-Live · Any combination of the above This limitation applies except where such issues result directly from BoldPiq's gross negligence or willful misconduct occurring before the Go-Live date. Any ongoing updates, monitoring, security hardening, or performance optimisation are provided exclusively under a separate paid Maintenance Plan. Clients are encouraged to enquire about BoldPiq's Maintenance & Support packages at support@boldpiq.com.
12. Intellectual Property
All content on this website — including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, images, and code — is the property of BoldPiq or its licensors, unless otherwise stated. Unauthorised reproduction, distribution, or commercial use of any content without prior written permission from BoldPiq is strictly prohibited. Client-owned deliverables are subject to the intellectual property terms outlined in the applicable Statement of Work or Terms of Service.
13. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by South African law (including the Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008 and the Electronic Communications and Transactions Act 25 of 2002), BoldPiq's total cumulative liability to any client or website visitor under any Agreement shall not exceed the total fees paid by that client in the twelve (12) months immediately preceding the event giving rise to the claim. This limitation applies regardless of the form of action, whether in contract, delict, or otherwise. BoldPiq shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, loss of revenue, loss of data, loss of goodwill, or business interruption, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.
14. Jurisdiction
These disclaimers are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa. Any disputes arising from or relating to these disclaimers shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of South Africa, without regard to conflict of law principles.
